Hi Tony
I love what you’re obsessed with- your own learning and everybody else’s learning. Thanks for the blog- I used to go on about the way we are treating the planet but I’ve mellowed a bit now. I still care a lot about it and have these discussions with the kids but I’m no longer the crusader!!

Living with uncertainty… absolutely. Believing that the world is about to end however must mean that there is no point to anything anymore and that is a miserable way to live. It can’t serve any of us to buy into that vision of the future surely…
Perhaps in our world of connectivity it is easier to spread fear, create unnecessary stress?
I know this may make me an ingrate but as a general rule I do not watch the news, too often it embraces the negative, feeds the fear and makes me wonder if there is any hope.

Thank you Tony! Amazing post. I’ve listened to all the doomsday reports and felt the fear… this is such a positive post, I love it. We need to look towards the future with hope and with excitment about living our best lives.

Hey I think number 5 is such a big one. I think instilling a kids with a sense of positive expectation towards being uncertain but ready to take on what ever comes is very much future-proofing.

I think it is so easy in today’s constant connectivity to forget that the only certainty in life is… nothing is curtain

Tony – brilliant post. Have you ever seen Cinema Pardiso… at the top of my list and agreed Shawsahnk, what a story. And, Anthony de Mello… one of the great mystics of our time!

Love that moment at the end Morgan Freeman’s Shawshank Redemption character, Red, looking out the window of that bus on its way to the border at Fort Hancock, Texas…
